Luke Air Force Base Solar Array Archaeological Monitoring and Recovery
USACE Fort Worth District | Luke Air Force Base, AZ

Conducted archaeological monitoring and excavation of 29 acres containing three archaeological sites in preparation for a solar array construction project. Ensured compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), developed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Arizona State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), Native American Tribes, and Luke AFB. Approximately 3,000 features were uncovered within a 12-month period in challenging weather conditions adjacent to an active F-16 fighter jet runway. (Aerostar SES LLC)

Asbestos, Lead-based Paint (LBP), Mold, and Hazardous Materials Assessment
NAVFAC Southeast | Multiple Naval Installations

Completed a five-year contract to conduct surveys, develop management plans and abatement designs, and oversee the abatement of identified asbestos-containing materials (ACM) and LBP. Under the contract, 61 task orders were issued for surveys at DoD installations throughout the Southeast, including Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina. Environmental Compliance Support Services
USACE Jacksonville District | Fort Irwin, CA

In support of Fort Irwin’s net zero solid waste goals, provided environmental compliance support services by updating multiple compliance plans for Fort Irwin and areas of the Mojave Desert. Collected data from approximately 100 sites and provided an Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) inventory update. Provided environmental compliance plan updates for the business emergency/contingency plan, environmental compliance outreach materials, hazardous waste and hazardous materials management plan, the integrated solid waste management plan (ISWMP), the Rotational Hazardous Waste/Hazardous Materials Guidebook, and the toxic release inventory report.

Remedial Investigation (RI) and Feasibility Study
USACE Omaha District | Former Blaine Naval Ammunition Depot, Hastings, TN

Conducted RIs under the Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) at two munitions response sites (MRS): the 2,633-acre Explosive Disposal and Demolition Range and the 4,074-acre Rocket and Rifle Range. Digital Geophysical Mapping (DGM) and intrusive investigation techniques determined the nature and extent of munitions and explosives of concern (MEC) and identified munitions debris. The investigations included an assessment of potential contaminants in soil, surface water, and sediment related to historical munitions use. This project was conducted under the Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS) program following the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) process. Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) Remedial Investigation (RI) and Environmental Remedial Design
Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) | Former Wurtsmith AFB, MI

Conducted a CERCLA RI and response action/interim remedial action (IRA) to characterize environmental conditions, define the nature and extent of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contaminants, and implement removal actions at two sites. Based on the interim proposed plan (PP), the preferred remedial alternative for both sites was hydraulic control using pump and treat with granular-activated carbon (GAC). (Aerostar SES LLC)
