On this job order contract, CCI provided the U.S. Army Garrison Redstone Arsenal Directorate of Public Works with facility renovation and modernization services, as well as development of new infrastructure and facilities. CCI’s services included program management, task order management, safety management and oversight, contract administration, construction quality control, project planning and supervision by construction superintendents, coordination with numerous (75+) Redstone Arsenal organizations and tenants, subcontractor procurement and management, associated engineering work, and development of as-built drawings. Constructed a new 29,000-SF single-story concrete masonry Ballistic Research Facility which included >15,000 SF of inside ranges. The facility was constructed for FBI’s Ballistic Research Facility group. The main part of the building includes multiple work areas for repairing and cleaning weapons, multiple storage rooms, men’s and women’s bathrooms, a reloading room, a library/presentation room, a metal/wood shop, an office, a break room, and utility rooms (communications, fire/water, electrical, mechanical). The facility includes a range control room and two parallel indoor shooting ranges (50-meter and 120-meter). In addition to the interior ranges, there is an overhead door at the end of the 120-meter range that can open to expose a 1,500-meter range with outside targets. (CCI Construction Services, LLC)

Renovated the 61,000-SF single story NLECC in Orlando, FL, providing a complete upgrade to the building’s HVAC, lighting, and electrical systems. Since the building was occupied during renovation, the work was performed in 10 phases. During each 6-week phase, the people working in the renovated area were set up to work elsewhere in the building.

Interior renovations included HVAC and all ductwork, mechanical systems, new air handling units, major power upgrades (UPS) and fire protection, new energy-efficient LED lighting, new ceilings, raised access flooring for installation of power and buckets, finishes, and minor related work. Concrete work included the removal and installation of concrete equipment pads. Exterior renovations included a lightning protection system, removal of existing large mechanical room doors, installation of new large mechanical doors, and installation of new galvanized steel columns for doors and new louvers.
