Internal Pipeline of NAVFAC Southeast at NAS Pensacola, FL

IDIQ Mechanical Contract
NAVFAC Southeast | NAS Pensacola, FL

Executed multiple concurrent task orders for mechanical services (total of 13) performing system test and balance and the repair, replacement, and upgrade of various mechanical systems, such as chillers, AHUs, DDCs, pumps, boilers, condensers, compressed air units, exhaust fans, duct work, and other related equipment. (CCI Mechanical, LLC)

D-B Energy Upgrades
NAVFAC Southeast | NAS Meridian, MS

Incorporated energy conservation measures in Buildings 1, 2, and 150 totaling 282,500 SF to provide energy reduction and resiliency. Project required: replacement of existing chilled water system in Building 1; replacement of a main water-cooled screw chiller, upgrade of lighting with LED fixtures, and modification of the electrical system to support new HVAC equipment and lighting in Building 2; and replacement of a 200 nominal ton chiller in Building 150. All three buildings remained operational during construction and a high level of coordination with the FAA was required to minimize disruptions to flight operations. Based on the successful performance of this contract, CCI-M received a $3.9M IDIQ for mechanical work at NAS Meridian. (CCI Mechanical, LLC)

Replacement of Chiller and AHUs at NAVFAC Southeast

Design-Build (D-B) Chiller and Air Handling Unit (AHU) Replacement
NAVFAC Southeast | NAS Jacksonville, FL

Replaced the existing water-cooled chillers and central building AHUs for Building 797 at the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast to upgrade aging HVAC systems. Project highlights: replacement of two existing water-cooled chillers, chilled water pumps, condensers, and water pumps; replacement of two central building chilled water air handling units, including their hot water reheat coils; and sizing of the new chilled water pumps (with variable frequency drives) to provide the required design flow rates to the two new central AHUs and the existing seven chilled water units. The seven existing units consisted of four AHUs and three fan-coil units which remained in use. The new chillers, pumps, and AHUs were connected to, programmed, and controlled by the existing Trane Tracer direct digital control (DDC) network currently in use in Building 797. Based on the successful performance of this contract, CCI-M received a $4.5M IDIQ for mechanical work at NAS Jacksonville. (CCI Mechanical, LLC)
