Repaired and renovated a 20,500-SF, two-story, historic training and administrative facility. Renovations increased the functional efficiency and code compliance of office spaces, restrooms, and a Secret Internet Protocol Router Network room. Project required: excavation; building envelope replacements including roofing and windows; mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems; and interior finishes.

Renovated the 29,550-SF VA Medical Center in Mather, CA, to both expand and modernize the facility to support the increased patient population and enhance delivery of patient services. The project provided the new construction of 9,500 SF of expansion space at the hospital main entrance and renovation of 10,000 SF of existing space. Project required: demolition; site preparation; installation of efficient HVAC and plumbing systems and fire suppression, mass evacuation systems, and nurse call system; installation of switchgear, transformers, panels, uninterruptable power system, and lighting; and construction of all new entrance including concrete foundation, PVC roof, and aluminum framed storefronts.(Herman Construction Group, Inc.)

Constructed a new 12,795-SF multi-purpose office, education, and meeting facility within an active and congested VA medical campus. The facility featured Class A spaces, including an expansive entry/display hall, classrooms, computer lab, administrative spaces, restrooms, a large flexible multipurpose room with partitions and stage, lounge area, kitchenette, storage, and outdoor collaborative learning environments including a half size basketball court and stage. Work also included the demolition of a two-story 19,000-SF 1940’s-era building that was seismically deficient.
